History of the Tour Montparnasse
The tower was built in 1973 at the heart of one of the most famous Parisian business districts. It attracts works of art life: Modigliani, Picasso Chagall Zadkine with their galleries, started as a redevelopment scheme of the Montparnasse and Maine railway stations and had strong support from the new government. There is access to the top floor with a magnificent view over Paris' skyscrapers. However, from an architectural point of view, the tower itself doesn’t really attract people.
